In the village of Lanne-en-Barétous, in the Pyrenees, on the border of Béarn and the Basque Country, the Château de Porthos welcomes you all year round. It was the last home of the famous musketeer Porthos.
The countryside, the mountain and the Atlantic Ocean are on this territory. Summer or winter, you can walk, ski, surf and discover an exceptional culture: that of Béarn and the Basque Country!
The castle overlooks the valley of Barétous with a view of the neighboring town of Aramits, birthplace of Aramis companion in arms of Porthos.
An exceptional wooden staircase will lead you to the bedrooms, named after the musketeers: Aramis, Milady, Athos, Porthos, D'Artagnan, not to mention the House of the Guards!
A great room to spend magical moments around your meals, a beautiful fireplace, billiard (French) or piano. When the good weather is there, the garden level opens its summer kitchen and billiard room (American) ... everything happens outside, on the large terrace overlooking the valley. To relax, an outdoor spa overlooks the large park.
